Positive: On the positive side, the room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was large, very soft, and truly comfortable, which was a big plus. There was plenty of room to move around, and the presence of a sofa made the space feel even more relaxing. The room was well furnished with a good sofa, a nice coffee table, and a large television. The bathroom was pleasant, it was very clean, spacious, and well designed, with a separate glass wall that prevented water from splashing onto the toilet area. The lighting in the bathroom was good, the ventilation worked properly, and the room had a soft carpeted floor, which added to the overall comfort. The staff were also helpful when approached directly. For example, when our food delivery arrived, a staff member noticed it, collected the order from the courier, and personally brought it to our room, which was very thoughtful. I also liked the small space at the entrance of the hotel and, overall, the general atmosphere of the place. It's everything that you expect from your normal hotel.

Negative: The air conditioner did not work, and because our window faced an inner shaft, not only was there no view and no possibility to look outside, they're also was no way to let fresh air in. There was no microwave in the room, and the refrigerator was quite noisy. While it did not bother us personally, it could be uncomfortable for lighter sleepers. There was no toilet paper upon arrival, but after contacting the hotel via chat, we were given paper tissues. Communication with the administration was underwhelming: there is no reception desk, and all interaction is done through Booking chat, where responses were very brief and impersonal, limited to short answers like “yes,” “no,” or “okay.” While the staff were not rude, the communication felt distant compared to hotels that offer more attentive and friendly support. It felt like we annoyed the staff or took their time. Another issue was noise and light insulation. There is a gap under the entrance door, which allows noise from the corridor to be heard clearly (and people in the corridor could hear us as well), and light from the hallway also enters the room at night. The Wi-Fi connection was unstable and frequently disconnected, even on the 5G network, which made it difficult to rely on the internet when needed. From a security perspective, anyone can enter the hotel and go up to the floors without control; access to rooms is limited only by the key card. While Saudi Arabia feels safe, especially Al Ula, additional access control or even a minimal reception would improve the sense of security and friendliness. Overall, we really like our stay, but we would appreciate more hospitality and friendliness from the staff.
